SOIL COMPACTORS

WHAT ENSURES THE PROPER LEVEL OF SOIL COMPACTION?
Various parameters are crucial for optimal soil compaction. The primary requirement is the correct water content in the soil and a properly prepared fill layer suitable for the chosen compaction device. Once this is ensured, properly adjusting the machine’s parameters is sufficient. Besides operating frequency and impact force, the key factor is static load, i.e., the force with which the excavator presses on the mounted compactor.
HOW TO CHOOSE A COMPACTOR FOR AN EXCAVATOR?
To work within the optimal load range during compaction, compactors of various sizes are available for different excavator weight classes. The Compaction Assistant (VA) aids in precise compaction by measuring the applied pressure directly and comparing it with predefined minimum and maximum load limits. The excavator operator receives a display notification indicating whether to increase or decrease the load.
